Dusty Story Music Dusty has been a musician and songwriter for 30 years. Born in Opelika, Alabama, Dusty moved to Nashville in 1998. He performed solo at the Wildhorse Salon, Gabe’s Honky Tonk, Broken Spoke Saloon and other Opry area venues with peers including band members of Restless Heart. He was a three time finalist of Colgate Country Showdown and opening act for the Nashville Star Tour, Doug Stone, & Billy Joe Royal. Sticking to his roots of traditional style country music with influences of Conway Twitty, Keith Whitley & Waylon Jennings he continued his writing pursuit for years as he spent time with his family. In recent years, Dusty has co-written with legendary Roger Murrah as his mentor and has moved back to middle Tennessee to concentrate on his originals. He is working with young upcoming label personalities such as Spencer Hatcher. Catch him as he performs more in the Nashville surrounding area.
